An MCP server for your agents
Claude Code, Cursor or any agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol over HTTP can make and manage your short links, with an API key and nothing else to install.
The tools
7 tools, each the console’s own action, each asking for one permission of the key.
List domains
The domains the organisation may make links on, its own and the shared ones, with how many links the plan has left this period. Needs Links · View.
Check a back-half
Whether a back-half is free on a domain, by the same rules a create applies. Needs Links · Create.
Create a link
Make a short link from a destination, on your own domain or a shared one, with a chosen or generated back-half, tags, an expiry and the rest of the link form. Needs Links · Create.
Read a link
One link’s settings and state, with its last 30 days of clicks, visitors and QR scans. Needs Links · View.
List links
The organisation’s links, newest first, searched and filtered. Needs Links · View.
Change a link
Change a link’s destination or settings; what is left out keeps its value. Needs Links · Edit.
Disable or enable a link
Turn a link off, keeping its history, or back on. Needs Links · Edit.
What an agent is allowed
Exactly what its key allows
The agent connects with an API key made in the console. Every tool runs the console’s own action, judged by that key’s permissions, so a key that can only view links gives an agent that can only view links.
The same checks as the console
A link made by an agent goes through every rule a person’s does: the destination’s safety check, the plan’s allowances and features, the domain, and the back-half. A refusal comes back to the agent in words it can act on.
The same limits as the API
Calls count against the plan’s API limits, per minute and per day, shared by every key of the organisation, as any API call does.
Connecting
1. Make an API key
In the console, under Developers › API keys, for the organisation or for yourself, with the link permissions the agent needs.
2. Add the server to your agent
One HTTP address and the key’s two headers. Claude Code takes it in one command, and Cursor, Windsurf and other clients that connect to a server over HTTP with headers in a few lines of their MCP settings; the console’s MCP guide has both, ready to copy.
3. Ask in plain words
“Shorten this for the autumn campaign on our own domain”, “which of our links point at the old pricing page?”, “turn off the summer sale link”.
Not yet
Sign-in by OAuth
The server takes an API key in two headers. A client that can only connect by signing in through a browser cannot connect yet.
Deleting, routing and reports
The tools make, read, list, change, disable and enable links. Deleting a link, routing rules, QR codes and analytics beyond a link’s last 30 days stay in the console and the API.
The setup is in the console
The server’s address, the command for Claude Code, the config for other clients and every tool’s fields: in the console’s MCP guide, once you are signed in.
